CANDY BOXES INSPIRED BY

THE STRANGE CASE OF DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE

For a Pre-Press, Press, and Post-Press class, we designed and produced candy boxes and pouches inspired by Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The goal was to not only create visually striking packaging but also gain hands-on experience in the commercial printing process - from initial design to final assembly.

The visual identity of the packaging was based on the duality of the story, using a limited color palette of red, black, and white to emphasize contrast and mystery.

In the pre-press stage, we ensured that the designs were optimized for production, including proper layout setup, die lines, and spot color application. The press process involved professional printing techniques to maintain color accuracy and sharpness. Finally, in post-press, we were involved in the cutting, folding, and assembling of the boxes and pouches, ensuring they maintained a high-quality, professional finish.

The final result was a visually cohesive and commercially viable packaging design that successfully captured the essence of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde while meeting real-world production standards.
